But our founder Natasa explored the silver fir even deeper.
As part of her master’s research in the field of natural cosmetics, Natasa Tavcar conducted a pioneering placebo-controlled study on the effects of silver fir (Abies alba) wood extract on the skin. Her research confirmed its remarkable regenerative and hydrating properties, packed with antioxidants and bioactive compounds that protect and renew the skin. She was awarded a Master’s Degree in Cosmetic Science and became the co-author of a patent for the sustainable cosmetic active ingredient in silver fir wood.
