Scientific research of Miron violet glass

Several scientific studies over the past few years have been carried out to investigate the protective qualities of Miron violet glass. A range of different materials such as chives, tomatoes, almond oil, spirulina, rose water, olive oil, cereals, honey, fruit, and even drinking water have been used.

Chive test

The chives stored in brown and white glass faded in colour, but those kept in Miron glass retained their original hue. Even the odour of the chives stored in this glass remained stronger and fresher.

Tomato test

To more easily display the protective qualities of Miron glass, testing was also conducted with cherry tomatoes. These tomatoes were stored for 7 months in both white glass and violet glass. They were kept at room temperature and within reach of the sunlight. This photo displays the microbiological changes in the tomatoes stored in white glass, while those stored in Miron violet glass showed no visible signs of colour loss or drying.
